Hi I’m Jessica!

I’m an artisan baker, Usui and crystal Reiki practitioner, restorative yoga guide, oracle, grief companion, and end-of-life doula in training. As I move through my personal journey of baking and spiritual practices in energy work I have begun to witness the ways our energy and auric field play a role in how we are showing up day-to-day. The ways in which we hold and express our energy is directly created through our hands - an extension of the heart space. In my story, this has been represented in baking and Reiki. 
I fell into baking as a career haphazardly, as a result of struggling with mental health and not meshing with the academic path but needing to build a skill and make money to survive. However, I was determined to build my knowledge base in this practice and master my craft. It became my driving force. Over the last decade, I have honed technical skill. But I had also lost some parts of myself along the way. This lead to burnout and in the summer of 2023, I took a sabbatical to reassess my work and well being. I began integrating holistic and alternative self-care practices that felt supportive to my lifestyle, specifically, I came back to Reiki (a practice my mother taught me at a young age, but I became certified in the summer of 2023. I now enjoy teaching others how to integrate holistic and embodiment techniques into their food creation and practices. My approach includes the exploration of our intuitive and energetic connection to the ingredients we source, and our processes - how we connect not only to the work but back into ourselves. These practices have helped me not only become a better baker, but one that aligns with my most authentic self and is balanced out by sustainable self-care practices. 
Each aspect of my services have had a personal affect at some point in my journey of healing and self exploration. This allows me the ability to offer a unique way to connect to the mind, body and spirit. To offer the opportunity to slow down and say “YES” to rest.
